Ask for the name
Tell us the address you want and where mail should go. A minute, no more.
We point your new address at the inbox you use now. Gmail, Outlook, whatever it is —
mail addressed to johan@viljoen.co.za turns up there, alongside
everything else.
Nothing moves. Your existing mail stays exactly where it is. There is no second inbox to check and no new password to keep.
When you reply, it goes out from your ordinary address, not your Viljoen one.
No account to create. A person reads every request and replies.
Tell us the address you want and where mail should go. A minute, no more.
We check the name is free, then confirm you really control the inbox you gave us.
Mail begins arriving in your normal inbox. Put it on your CV.
Upgrading keeps the same address. The mailbox goes behind the name you already have.
Really free. Forwarding mail costs us almost nothing, so we can give it away. We earn from the people who go on to want a mailbox they can send from.
It helps, but no. If the name means something to you — family, marriage, your mother's side — that is reason enough.
Nothing at all. This is not a replacement. Mail sent to your Viljoen address simply arrives in the inbox you already use, next to everything else.
Not on the free tier. Replies go out from your ordinary address and the recipient sees that. Sending as johan@viljoen.co.za needs a real mailbox.
First come, first served — but ask anyway. There is usually a good second choice, and we will go through the options with you.
We do not want card details anywhere near this website. If you upgrade, we email a link that goes straight to PayFast. We never see or store your card.
We ask once a year whether you still want it. Answer, and it runs another year. If we hear nothing and mail stops reaching you, we warn you before releasing it. A name that has been used is retired, never handed to somebody else.
